内容简介 Synopsis

中国风（Chinoiserie）是自13世纪晚期开始就在欧洲出现的一种文化艺术现象，而马可波罗在元大都（北京）受到元世祖忽必烈接见这一事件可以作为中国风尚兴起的一个标志。不过，中国风（Chinoiserie）这一学术术语则要到19世纪才得以确定，被用来形容受到中国或者更宽泛一些的远东文化影响的欧洲艺术潮流。本书旨在通过配套的图片与文字为读者勾勒出中国风在欧洲发展历史的轨迹。

中国风是西方特有的文化现象，是西方人心目中的中国形象。在工业革命之前的欧洲人印象中，中国是一个遥远、神秘并且充满诗情画意的国度。许多欧洲的学者和艺术家都受到远东进口的器物或是冒险家带回的远东见闻的启发，在文学、戏剧、哲学、建筑和艺术等领域创作出了大量让人耳目一新的作品。中国风并不局限于某一特殊的艺术媒介或特定的时代风格，它是一种广泛的文化艺术诉求，从舞台剧到陶瓷工艺，从哲学到室内装饰，从漆器工艺到音乐，在相当长的一段历史时期内伴随着欧洲文明而成长。中国风在欧洲的产生与风格发展，对欧洲艺术有着深远的影响。

本书大致分为两部分，第一部分包括本书的前面两章，主要分析和概括了从13世纪末到17世纪，中国风在欧洲的诞生和早期发展情况。本书的第二部分集中阐述了从17世纪晚期到19世纪晚期欧洲盛行的中国风的发展，这部分按照欧洲的历史、政治、地域和文化等因素划分章节，从法国开始，以意大利结尾。这样的划分不仅出于方法论的考量，更重要的是这样可以使读者更为清楚地区分中国风在欧洲各地和各时间段（从巴洛克、洛可可到新古典主义）不同的传播方式。

Chinoiserie is a cultural and artistical phenomenon that invested Europe at least from the late 13th century, at the time Marco Polo had reached the court of Beijing. However, the term Chinoiserie was used for the first time only in the 19th century to describe a style reflecting a Chinese inspiration or more generally Far Eastern influences. Chinoiserie is an exclusively Western phenomenon. It is the vision the Europeans had of China, yet a far, mysterious and fashinating country. Many European authors and artists found inspiration for their literary, theatrical, philosophical, architectural and artistical creations in the objects and cultural informations that arrived in Europe from China and the other Asian territories.

Chinoiserie is not linked to a specific medium or style: it involved any kind of cultural and artistical expression, from theatre to porcelain, from philosophy to interior design, from lacquer to music, going through a very long phase of European history. It had the intensity to deeply influence the development of the taste.

The aim of this book is to offer to the reader a critical overview about Chinoiserie with the indispensable help of a supply of images. Text and pictures are organized in two main sections. The first section (chapters 1 and 2) analyzes the birth and earlier developments of the phenomenon, from the late 13th to the 17th century. The second section concentrates on the evolution of the Chinese taste from the late 17th to the early 19th century. The chapters are organized according to the historical, political, geographical and cultural partition of the European territory, starting from France and finishing with Italy.

作者简介 About the Author

【意】[意]佛朗切斯科•莫瑞纳（Francesco Morena），1972年出生于意大利波坦察，长期致力于研究远东与欧洲跨地域文化交流研究。2004年获佛罗伦萨大学艺术史系博士学位，主攻课题为《佛罗伦萨博物馆藏中国和日本漆器》。他陆续出版关于远东艺术的专著近十部，发表相关学术文章近四十篇。他的《14—19世纪中国风艺术在意大利的演进》曾经得到中国风艺术研究领域的开拓者、世界艺术史泰斗休•奥纳尔（Hugh Honour）的高度赞扬。

Francesco  Morena is  a  scholar  specialized  in  Asian  Art. He  writes  books  and  articles  about  Chinese  and  Japanese  Art,  with  a  particular attention  on  the  historical  collectionism  of  Oriental  Art  in Europe.
